“Fall seven times, stand up eight.” – Japanese Proverb

ree

It’s ok to stay down, but make sure you eventually get back up.

Adapting - (we can do it!)

Sometimes, it feels like the world is crashing in and everything is going wrong. While it might seem like the universe is out to get you, I promise that it's not. (Stuff I tell myself on the daily 😆)

Sometimes we fall and we get back up.  Other times we fall and need to chill for a bit.  Both scenarios are ok, but make sure you get back up. It’s hard. Trust me, I get it.  No matter what, it is always worth  bouncing back to see what tomorrow brings.

Take that next step!

I won’t go into detail about everything that has gone awry in my life. But there have been several snafus regarding my journey with Shattered Are the Fallen, the third book in the Fractured Realm. Financial issues, family drama, and editing delays have complicated my plans.

I had days when I wanted to just up and quit, but I refused to stop. The rollercoaster makes me question my sanity, but here we are!

Celebrating - (stick to it, it’s always worth it 🥳)

Shattered is back with me! We are in the final stages of editing, even with all of the delays! I  can’t wait for it to be out in the world. I  haven’t settled on an official release date yet because my editor  had a medical emergency (she posted about this publicly), which was one of the smaller delays.  I’m happy to report she is doing much better.

I am aiming for it to be ready for ARC readers toward the end of December and  primed for publishing by February 2026. Those targets feel both far away and around the corner at the same time.

Something exciting!

Shattered Are the Fallen’s cover is DONE! And it’s by far my favorite of the series(so far…)

Behind the scenes

No matter how crazy life it gets, it’s always important to take a breather. Take care of yourself. No matter how crazy life it gets, it’s always important to take a breather. Take care of yourself. Rest when necessary. Push when you can.

Lately, I have been devouring fantasy rom coms and cozy retellings. I’m also reading three ARCs:

ree

The first book in Linda Ling’s crossover fantasy series A Song of Sins & Symphonies

ree

The penultimate book in Jen Woodrum’s Severed Fate’s series, When Death is Hiding

ree

The second book in the Moonstone Isle Series by Ashley Adams, Shadows of Timberland

Hope you had a spooktacular Halloween and if your in the north like I am, enjoying the cold weather!

PS. If you read and enjoyed Fractured and/or Broken, it'd mean the world to me if you could post a review either on Goodreads or Amazon
